Nominate an Outstanding Survivor
Courtesy Automotive Group, Presenting Sponsor of the 2018 Komen Acadiana Race for the Cure, seeks to honor an Outstanding Survivor in our Community with the Survivor of the Year Award.
The Survivor of the Year Award is presented to a breast cancer survivor, or forever fighter, who has the great courage under fire to get through diagnosis and treatment, who serves as a role model for other women and men, and who holds onto hope at every turn in life with humor, courage, and grace. An individual is considered a survivor whether they are recently diagnosed, in treatment, in remission, or battling metastatic disease.
To nominate a Survivor, please visit courtesyvalue.com/survivor-of-the-year before January 12, 2018 and complete the nomination form with that someone special’s information. Nominations must be received by January 12, 2018 to be considered for the honor. The Survivor of the Year will be announced on Courtesy Automotive Group's website and on the Acadiana Affiliate of Susan G. Komen’s social media and website. The Outstanding Survivor will receive goodies from local businesses on Race Day as well as will lead the Survivor Ceremony on Race Day!
